🇬🇧 Alkira and Sogode hosted a webinar yesterday for network engineers and architects to walk through some real-life use cases and see how Alkira provides great solutions for them.
These were the topics:
- Simplify network teams and cloud platform teams working together
- How to deal with IP address overlaps
- Integrate network segmentation into the fabric
Additionally, we touched on the expansion into other clouds/regions and how to improve partner connectivity.
Now I’m busy writing the Network as Code ebook I promised to the attendants.
🇫🇷 Alkira et Sogode ont organisé hier un webinaire destiné aux ingénieurs et architectes réseau pour découvrir quelques cas d’utilisation réels et voir comment Alkira leur propose d’excellentes solutions.
Voici les sujets :
- Simplifier la collaboration des équipes réseau et des équipes de plateforme cloud
- Comment gérer les chevauchements d’adresses IP
- Intégrer la segmentation du réseau dans la structure
De plus, nous avons évoqué l’expansion dans d’autres cloud/régions et la manière d’améliorer la connectivité des partenaires.
Maintenant, je suis occupé à écrire le livre électronique Network as Code que j’ai promis aux participants.

🇬🇧 Today NetBox have announced they are providing their solution for free – which is great news for anyone who needs to keep some sort of network information.
Being a Network Source of Truth (NSoT), it is imperative for network automation and provides great relief for network admins who can collectively bin their Excel. They have an impressive list of integrations and I hope this announcement will catapult them into every network environment.
